THE MUDDLED MAN INN IS A PROPER COUNTRY PUB IN THE HEART OF THE SOMERSET COUNTRYSIDE
There's a warm welcome awaiting you at our country pub in Somerset. Whether you've got a thirst for a real ale or fancy some proper, home cooked pub food we'd love for you to pop by and pay us a visit.
There are a few reasons you might like it here, and the down to earth atmosphere may be one of them. You won't find pretentious food served on chopping boards or imported lagers in fancy glasses. Instead you get home cooked, deep filled pies, sausages and steaks and local real ales and ciders from West Country brewers.
Our open beer garden is always popular in summer as it catches the sun all day long, and what better way to spend a sunny summer's day than in a peaceful countryside pub garden?
In winter, you can curl up by our open fire and get stuck in to a good book to avoid the typical English weather.
For a countryside weekend away you're able to stay in one of our en-suite rooms for a traditional country pub experience.
And our skittle alley and function room (capacity up to 100 people) mean we offer the complete country pub package.
We're delighted to have been recommended in CAMRA's good beer guide for the last ten years consecutively, and owe huge thanks to our local real ale suppliers, who allow us to supply their Cask Marque quality assured SIBA real ales all year round.
So for a country pub in Somerset, with dogs and all, we reckon you could do worse than come to the Muddled Man in West Chinnock.

WE ENJOYED A VERY PLEASANT LUNCH TODAY, tried 5 different real ales, as 2 ran out whilst we were there, and Gary put on plastered pheasant, and Yeovils latest brew, star of Bethlehem, both of which were excellent .The food was gorgeous, as usual. Will be going back very soon.
