There's a warm welcome awaiting you at our country pub in Somerset. Whether you've got a thirst for a real ale or fancy some proper, home cooked pub food we'd love for you to pop by and pay us a visit.
We like to think of ourselves as a Proper Country Pub.
You won't find pretentious food served on chopping boards or imported lagers in fancy glasses. Instead you get home cooked, deep filled pies, sausages and steaks and get to wash them down with local ales and West Country ciders.
Our open beer garden is always popular in summer as it catches the sun all day long.
Then in winter, you can escape the rain, curl up by our open fire and get stuck into a good book.
If you’re looking for a countryside weekend away, you're able to stay in one of our en-suite rooms. Then you can pop out in the day time and explore all that the great country of Somerset has to offer.
We're also the proud sponsors of West & Middled Chinnock F.C and contributors to the South West's Children Hospice.
So for more information or to book a room give us a quick ring on 01935 319 430 now.
WE ENJOYED A VERY PLEASANT LUNCH TODAY, tried 5 different real ales, as 2 ran out whilst we were there, and Gary put on plastered pheasant, and Yeovils latest brew, star of Bethlehem, both of which were excellent .The food was gorgeous, as usual. Will be going back very soon.
