- CBeebies presenter Andy Day and comedy partner Mike James return to The Playhouse Theatre with a brilliant time travel family adventure, Tick Tock Time Machine.
Following their smash hit show, Andy and Mike's Big Box of Bananas, Andy Day, star of Andy's Wild Adventures (CBeebies) and BAFTA-nominated BBC presenter stars alongside Mike James in another adventure for the whole family, and this time they have a time machine!
Whilst playing in the garden of their 'fun pad' – the pair discover a door that was locked many years ago by their great, great, great grandfather Wally Bum.
Inside they find many inventions and a mysterious time machine which sends them on a quest to collect the things they need from the past and the future. Will they make it back to the here and now or be trapped in the mists of a time forever? One thing's for sure; they haven't a chance without your help!
Audiences can be guaranteed that Andy and Mike's trademark infectious energy and their irrepressible sense of fun, promise to make the show a treat for the whole family.
In fact the duo hope that Tick Tock Time Machine is so good, you will want to travel back in time as soon as you've seen it to and see it all over again.
"Day and his partner in silliness, Mike James have created an hour of off-beat mayhem that would appeal to pretty much any age… the duo's rapport with the audience, witty dialogue, energy and drive is right on the money." The List
Andy and Mike have known each other since they were 11-years-old having both grown up together in Romford, Essex where they found their love for performing at the same drama group.
For many years they have performed as a duo as 'Annie and Fannie' in Cinderella, on local radio, and in various comedy sketches.
Over the past few years Andy has worked as a presenter for Cbeebies presenting links and dancing to Number raps plus touring arenas in Cbeebies Live with Katy, Mister Maker and Justin.
He now has his own show on Cbeebies called 'Andy's Wild Adventures' where he goes on adventures with Kip to see the animals from all over the world.
Mike, the not so famous one, has been pursuing a career in radio and new media and now they are back together again, some say this is bigger than the return of 'Take That'!
So get ready to go on an afternoon adventure in a time machine with fun and laughter along the way.
Tick Tock Time Machine will be at the Playhouse, Weston-super-Mare, on Saturday 10 November at 2pm. Tickets, priced £10 are available on 01934 645 544 or online at http://tinyurl.com/677l7bh
