Over 200 of Bristol's hottest singers and musicians will take to the stage at The Fleece for an all-day festival on Saturday 6 September in aid of St Peter's Hospice.
The line-up features local acts The Ambling Band, The Rin Tins, Bristol Samba, Alannah Jackson and Gathering Voices as well as Le Grand Machinchose who are coming all the way from France to take to the Fleece's famous stage.
Sarah Smither, organiser of the event said: "This will be our fifth Fleece gig for St Peter's Hospice. We've organised gigs in the past and last year we put on our first festival but this time we've chosen a carnival theme so it will be quite a spectacle! The Fleece will be transformed for the event and we're encouraging people to come in fancy dress.
"So far the Fleece gigs have raised over £13,000 and this year we're aiming to raise £5000 in one night!
"Several friends and relatives of the bands and organisers have been cared for by the extraordinary staff at St Peter's Hospice and everyone is giving their time for free for this very special cause."
Jo Plummer, community fundraiser at St Peter's Hospice said: "The All-Day Festival is going to be a real sensation with some of the biggest names on the Bristol music scene on the bill. To have so many fantastic acts under one roof is brilliant and the ticket price is great value for money. Sarah's gigs have grown over the past couple of years and the success just goes to show how committed people are to supporting us.
"We are so lucky to have the passionate support of The Fleece and so thankful for them and Sarah for their fantastic enthusiasm and events.
"The festival kicks off Party for Pete season which sees people all over Bristol hosting their own party to raise money. Anything goes from garden parties and children's parties to classy cocktail evenings and cheese and wine nights."

As Bristol's only adult hospice, St Peter's Hospice cares for more than 2,670 patients each year as well as supporting family members.
All services are provided free of charge but this care costs around £18,000 a day. For around £14,000 of that, the hospice relies on gifts in wills, kind donations and funds generated by the hospice shops.
The festival begins at 12.30pm on 6 September and is open to all ages. Tickets can be purchased in advance for £8 from www.thefleece.co.uk
If supporters are unable to attend but wish to donate they can do so via Justgiving at www.justgiving.com/FleeceFestival or by texting PPFF50 £3 TO 70070.
