Police are appealing for information after four cars were stolen in an overnight burglary at a Yeovil garage.

A Citroen C5, a VW Golf, a Saab 9-3 and a Peugeot 206 were stolen from the Wyvern Motor Company on Ilchester Road some time between 5pm on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday morning.

Two other cars were also interfered with and a quantity of cash was taken from a till, police said.

The stolen cars were later found in residential streets nearby.

Police said the offenders broke into the garage workshops at the rear and stole car keys from a safe.

Two men, aged 23 and 21, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft, and bailed while investigations continue.

Police want any witnesses, or anyone with information, to call 101.
