A 32 year old woman was arrested last night on suspicion of murdering 23-year-old graduate, Catherine Wells-Burr.
Catherine was found in a red Ford Focus that was set alight during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Detectives are still trying to establish why Catherine was at the scene. They have been working on the theory that she possibly knew her attacker.
DCI Simon Crisp said: "We are working on the theory that she possibly knew the attacker. We do not think this is a random attack but we are not ruling it out."
"A post mortem will begin today to try and identify how Catherine died.
"We still need information from members of the public and those people who knew Catherine or knew of her. It is imperative we get a full picture of her life and you may have information that could help."
Anyone with information is being urged call the police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
