Former Bristol second row Lee Waddon has been appointed head coach of Wellington Rugby Club.
He takes over from former England and Gloucester second row Dave Sims who resigned last season.
Waddon, who also played for Clifton and Taunton, was director of rugby at Taunton for five years before stepping down at the end of the 2011-12 season.
He coached Minehead Barbarians the following winter.
Waddon said: "I'm very much a winner – I don't like losing. That's the way I've always played the game.
"I see plenty of potential at Wellington and I can't wait to get started."
Meanwhile, ex-Taunton centre Rob Trott has been re-elected skipper of Wellington who play in Western Counties West.
Trott had knee surgery earlier this month but hopes to be fit for the start of pre-season training.
