Villagers may go to court in A303 solar farm battle

Campaigners in Somerset opposing the building of what could be the biggest solar farm in the country say they are disappointed after planners allowed it to be built.

Villagers cannot appeal to the council after plans to extend the existing solar farm at Parsonage, Dillington, beside the A303, were approved, but they are studying whether to go through the courts for a judicial review.

The villagers have tried appealing to the landowner to stop the scheme without success.
