Vertigo woman takes dispute to the top

A homeless woman who refused the offer of a high-rise council flat because she said she was frightened of heights has won a court fight. Naima Mohamoud took action after Birmingham City Council refused to offer an alternative. A county court judge had backed the council. But the Court of Appeal has ruled in Ms Mohamoud's favour saying that she might have been confused and the council should review her case.
