Struggling Taunton Town are hoping teenage goalkeeper Matt Urwin will be fit for tonight’s away game against Paulton Rovers in Division One South and West of the Evo-Stik League Southern.

The Blackburn Rovers loanee missed Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Abingdon with an ankle injury sustained while training.

His loan spell with Taunton runs out this coming weekend and it is not known yet whether it will be extended.

Urwin lives in Blackpool, and a Taunton spokesman said: “Blackburn are paying his wages but we are paying for his travelling.”

Taunton beat Paulton in the FA Cup following a replay earlier this season but their form has since dipped and they have not won a league game since late September.

Taunton Town (away v Paulton Rovers, from): Urwin, Sidley-Adams, Irish, Hambley, Mammola, Gerring, Norrish, Short, Ingram, Blake, Marsh, Herrod, Peek, Harris, Badavi, Lewis.
