Evo-Stik League Southern side Taunton Town have stepped up their search for a new striker.

Taunton have lost their last three matches, the latest being a 2-0 home defeat by North Leigh last Saturday.

Taunton boss Leigh Robinson said: “The North Leigh game was probably the first time this season that we haven’t quite clicked on the ball and threatened too much going forward.

“Hopefully we might also have another striker signed in time for Saturday’s game at Cirencester to freshen things up.”

Robinson will be forced to make changes tomorrow because goalscoring midfielder Rodney Marsh and defender Dave Hambly are both unavailable.
