The Taunton Saturday Football League have axed all their cup competitions for the season.
The league have had more than 200 postponements due to the atrocious weather and felt they might not be able to complete their season if they did not take this step now.
Meanwhile one of the league’s top sides, Predators, have pulled out of Division One, mainly through a lack of commitment from players. They were lying third.
The table has been amended accordingly and means the top division now has only ten teams.
The Keyline Taunton Sunday League decided a fortnight ago to drop three of its main competitions to ease the backlog of games.
