Cases Somerset Rebels will announce their seven riders for the 2013 Premier League speedway season tomorrow night.
The Rebels will unveil their signings at an Oaktree Arena social evening organised by the Somerset Riders’ Equipment Fund.
Somerset will need to make some changes to their line-up, as the current squad is over the 42.50 points limit required for the 2013 season.
Promoter Debbie Hancock said: “Although it would have been nice to have kept the septet that won us the League Cup and came so close to that league title, that, unfortunately isn’t to be, so there will be the inevitable changes to the team.
“In saying that, though, I think we have put a team together that will be more than capable of challenging for honours once again as well as being an entertaining one out on track to maintain the Somerset tradition of recent years.
"Hopefully we'll have a good number of fans along to the social evening to be the first to hear just who will be wearing the Somerset colours next season.”
The Rebels also have a new team partner on board after agreeing a deal with Bridgwater company, industrial and commercial insulation specialists PG Insulation.
Managing director Phil Gazzard said: "PG Insulation is to become proud team partner of Somerset Speedway and wish them all success in the forthcoming seasons."
Hancock added: “Obviously we still have a long wait until the start of the 2013 season, but with the team we have put in place, and with great news of a new sponsor in PG Insulation coming on board, then things are already starting to look positive for when the tapes rise on next year’s campaign.”
