As the days get shorter and the temperature drops Horse owners across the county will be pulling rugs out of storage to protect their horses from the elements.

The majority of rugs require cleaning and many will be washed off with a pressure washer over a 5 bar gate, although this will give the appearance of cleaning in reality all it has done is washed the dirt deeper into the fibres and removed the waterproofing qualities.

Here at Somerset Equine Laundry we have been cleaning and reproofing rugs using our computerised machines and Nikwax products to restore rugs to near perfect condition.

Some rug cleaning companies use tumble driers that can shrink materials - not a process we would recommend or encourage and as any of our customers will verify our rugs come back bagged and cleaned to a very high standard.

We want to retain our 100% customer satisfaction status and treat all our customers rugs as if they were our own.

With no hidden extras for collection, bagging or de-hairing we believe we offer an exemplary service and welcome the opportunity of showing you why we are held in high esteem by our customers.

If you would like advice on repairs, cleaning, drying or storing of your rugs please do feel free to give us a call on 07855 292631 or visit our website at www.somersetequinelaundry.co.uk or email: info@somersetequinelaundry.co.uk
