Bristol singer Christina Marie dazzled crowds with her "mesmerising" singing on The Voice this weekend – and for her efforts she was rewarded with a fast track to show's semi-finals.
Wearing a glamorous long evening gown, the 20-year-old, from the Redland area, gave a rendition of Foo Fighters' song Everlong.
Her mentor Ricky Wilson was so impressed that he put her straight through to the semi-finals.
This meant she avoided the tense public vote which saw many of the other contestants knocked out.
Christina, who had to quit her office job to appear on the show, said: "I really thought Ricky was going to pick Chris, I just had a feeling in my stomach. I couldn't believe it when I heard my name. I thought me and Emily are quite similar so he would make us go head to head. Ricky told me later he had planned to pick Chris."
