Pink Floyd fan's Dark Side of the Moon plan goes to the wall in Bath

A Pink Floyd fan from Bath has been denied permission to create a display based on the cover of the band’s Dark Side of the Moon.

It was ruled that architectural consultant Alan Ramshaw should not be allowed to put up fixings at his 18th-century house in Beauford Square to hold the illuminations.

Mr Ramshaw, who helped with the band’s stage lighting systems in the 1960s, is preparing to appeal Bath and North East Somerset Council’s refusal.

    A clear case of Us and Them, where given Time and Money and providing they Speak to Me then this decision will be Eclipsed by them being On the Run, providing they Breathe and are not Brain Damaged - else they'll say Mr Ramshaw can have Any Colour You Like in The Great Gig in The Sky.
