Pike stands down as chairman of Tigers

Stuart Pike has resigned as chairman of Gloucester City after just 148 days in the job. The Gloucester-based businessman took on the post of chairman on January 1, succeeding Nigel Hughes in the job. Pike explained that it was always his intention to quit the post once the club had finalised and submitted their plans for a new ground at Meadow Park – and with architects J Mason Associates announcing that they have submitted plans for the new stadium, Pike is standing down. Vice-chairman Mike Dunstan will take the post of interim chairman while the club seeks a new chairman.
