Mystery winner from Somerset scoops £1.3 million Lotto jackpot

A Somerset man has become a millionaire after scooping £1.3 million in the National Lottery.

The mystery winner matched all six numbers to win the Lotto jackpot and take home a cheque for £1,314,707.

The man, who is being identified only as Mr C from Somerset, was playing Lotto through National-Lottery.co.uk and won the jackpot on Saturday, january 26.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “Well done to Mr C, he has banked this amazing prize with just a few simple clicks – he didn’t even have to pick up a ticket. 

"If you play interactively, not only do we check your numbers, we also let you know you have won – it couldn’t be easier.”
