A Southampton man who has been missing for nearly a fortnight may be sleeping rough in Somerset, police have said.
Javan Tutton, 44, has been missing from his address in the city since Thursday, September 6.
He was being treated for anxiety at a mental health inpatient unit and was last seen at about 11.30am on the day he went missing, police said.
Officers have appealed for people in the Avon and Somerset area to get in touch if they see Mr Tutton.
"He has family ties at Blakeney, Gloucestershire, and previously has spent time in Winchester, Bournemouth, Poole and areas of Avon and Somerset," said police in a statement.
"Enquiries at these locations have failed to find him. He may be sleeping rough.
"Because he is without medication, there are fears for his state of mind.
"Mr Tutton has thinning dark hair, brown eyes and is of medium build, but thin.
"When last seen, he was clean-shaven, wearing a white and blue long-sleeve chequered shirt, grey trousers and a black baseball cap. He carried a rucksack."
Anyone with information about Mr Tutton's location, or anyone who has seen him, should call police at Southampton on 101.
