A man was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a Midsomer Norton industrial estate yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews from Paulton and Radstock were called out to the unit on Westfield Industrial Estate shortly after midday yesterday.
A 57-year-old man, who was working at the site when the blaze broke out, was treated at the scene by emergency services, before being taken to hospital as a precaution.
An Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said crews used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The fire caused minor damage to the industrial unit, and crews ventilated the smoke-logged property.
