There was allegedly an attempt of murder committed in the early hours of Sunday morning in Bristol.
One man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed and suffered life-threatening injuries.
Shaun Matthew Lock, 26, of Throgmorton Road, Knowle West, appeared before Bristol Magistrates Court on Monday.
He is accused of inflicting life-threatening injuries, including a punctured lung and kidney damage, on Wayne Clarke, who is in his 30s, during an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning in Instow Road, Knowle West.
Lock did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court next month.
