Green Pastures, in Mill Lane, Wedmore, Somerset, is being auctioned by agents Greenslade Taylor Hunt.

The agents say this is a unique opportunity to acquire a three-bedroom detached dated post war bungalow in 0.29 of an acre – in need of renovation and possible re-development – occupying an elevated position on the edge of the village of Wedmore, benefiting from "truly stunning panoramic views across open countryside towards the Mendip Hills".

The auction is on Wednesday, October 17, at 7pm, at Batch Country House, Batch Lane, Lympsham, near Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. The guide price is £175,000 to £200,000. Green Pastures is located on the outskirts of the sought after village of Wedmore, which is situated midway between the coastal town of Burnham-on-Sea and the city of Wells. Wedmore offers excellent retail and local amenities.

Junction 22 of the M5 motorway is approximately eight miles distant, making the village ideal for the commuter as well as offering peaceful semi rural living.

The property is situated outside the development boundary of Wedmore, nevertheless holds potential for redevelopment subject to gaining the necessary statutory consents.
