Hereford United caretaker manager Peter Beadle will be keeping his fingers crossed that his talented teenagers Jarrod Bowen and Billy Murphy are fully fit for the crucial match against Aldershot on Saturday.
Bowen scored Hereford's third goal in their win over Alfreton Town on Monday having recovered from a knock against Tamworth.
"Jarrod had only a 50-50 chance of playing against Alfreton, so his performance showed a lot about his character," said Beadle.
"He is still only a kid, but he put in a man's performance and the goal his scored was fantastic.
"What was really good for him was it was in front of home supporters and I am sure he will remember it for a long time."
Murphy also suffered a knock early in the first half against Alfreton and Beadle will also be hoping that he has fully recovered to face the shots.
"Billy also took a knock at Tamworth on top of his foot, which we all know will be sore."
