Mole Valley Farmers has secured the contract to distribute brewers' grains from the Molson Coors breweries at Alton in Hampshire and Sharp's brewery at Rock in Cornwall. Molson Coors the second largest brewer in the UK, produces over 130,000t of brewers' grains which is all used in the animal feed market. The contract means Mole Valley Farmers can produce a new range of feeds with brewers' grains at its Devizes centre for its farmer members. The range consists of Mole Sweet Grains, Mole Fibre Grains and Mole Pro Grains all of which will help to increase dry matter intake and yield. These brewers' grain products can replace or complement forages or concentrates for dairy or beef cattle.
