Gary Johnson is unlikely to make any last minute swoops for players before the transfer window slams shut tonight.
Football League clubs have until midnight tonight to complete permanent and loan deals for players. However, Yeovil Town boss Johnson said he was not expecting to do business.
The manager has room to bring in personnel on a temporary basis but suggested he would be happy to wait until the loan window re-opens next week.
He said: “I have still got the loan window and we have still got room for that. At the moment I am pleased with the group we have.
“If we bring in too many new ones we have got to go through our philosophies. You have got me running them hard, sending them home and then bringing them back for more.
“That is what this group has been through. Everyone knows exactly what is expected of them.”
Crystal Palace striker Kwesi Appiah was Yeovil’s most recent arrival, when he signed a month’s loan from the npower Championship outfit last month.
He followed from Paddy Madden, Joe Edwards and Kevin Dawson who all signed permanent contracts, whilst Middlesbrough midfielder Matt Dolan joined on loan.
Yeovil Town entertain Brentford at Huish Park on Saturday with the Glovers unbeaten in npower League One since the start of the year and on the back of three wins.
