The inquest into the death of Gabriel Magee, a technology expert at JP Morgan who fell from the bank's headquarters in Canary Wharf, east London, begins today.
Mr Magee, who had worked for the company for 10 years, was pronounced dead after falling on to the ninth-floor roof shortly after 8am on January 28.
The death of the 39-year-old vice-president in CIB Technology was not treated as suspicious by police.
The building in London’s financial district has been the headquarters of the bank’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operation since July 2012.
The inquest will be held at Poplar Coroner’s Court, east London.
