On Saturday 15th September 2012, the sun was shining to greet the Felton Flyers who were again playing host for their second match since the club's creation. The home team many of whom had arrived bright and early to join in a with a kick around with some of the younger squads training session were eager to greet their visitors, The Buccaneers. Following The Flyers first match defeat, all the boys were determined to correct any errors of the previous Saturday's game. In true Flyer fashion, with good defending from the home team the first goal was scored by Mason. Unfortunately this was followed up quickly with a lovely equaliser from The Buccaneers. At this stage, Mason bitter to have his first goal equalled, sank an awesome goal which would have rivalled any premiership players aspirations. Not content to rest on their laurels, Jack V put away a further goal for The Flyers taking their lead to 3-1. Before the final whistle, The Buccaneers stole back a goal with a final score of 3-2 to The Flyers. Speaking to assistant coach, Jeff Lewis after the match "I am so proud of the whole team, this is the boost they needed. The reason they were so successful is that they played superbly as a team, its incredibly hard to pick out one star player following today's match. The Flyers defenders, Finley, Jack H, Callum Foskitt and Javon all kept good positioning making it very difficult for The Buccaneers to find a way through. The midfield was continually held well by George and Jack V and at half time, the two substitutions Rio and Callum didn't disappoint to keep the momentum going".  Dom Ford, Manager also commented "I am tremendously proud of the boys performance today.  They played the match as a united team and their hard work has resulted in Felton Flyers rising to 7th in the League Tables, I could not be happier". Man of the Match was awarded to Javon from The Felton Flyers for his brave defending throughout the game.

The Felton Flyers FC are always on the look out for new talent to join their squads.
