A driver has died after a collision on the A48 between Lydney and Blakeney in Gloucestershire on Saturday.
A black Seat Leon driven by a 30-year-old man from Churchdown was travelling along the A48 towards Gloucester when it left the road and ran into trees at around 10.45am.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner and the driver's next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours while police dealt with the crash, the third death on the road in as many weeks.
Tania Manka and Shayne Witts, both from Lydney, were killed at Lensbrook in a crash on December 27.
Signs along the roadside show there have been 52 casualties there in the past three years. Councillors from Lydney met with highways officials on December 31 to raise their concerns.
