An incident involving a train and a cow in Somerset caused major delays yesterday.
Services across the region were hit due to the accident which happened between Highbridge and Bridgwater shortly before 9am yesterday morning.
Rail services were disrupted in Somerset and Wiltshire as the delays had a knock on effect on services across the West.
A statement from First Great Western said: "Owing to animals on the line between Weston-super-Mare and Taunton, Taunton-bound lines are blocked."
Rail-replacement buses were put in place throughout the morning before the animals were removed from the track and services could resume as normal.
