Clifton welcome National Two South newcomers Canterbury to their Station Road ground in Henbury this afternoon after the hosts got back to winning ways last weekend with a 40-33 victory at Barking.

Canterbury ended a run of five defeats last weekend with a 51-14 demolition of Southend at Merton Lane.

Four of their eight tries came from full-back Martyn Beaumont, the former Dover skipper.

Ben Roberts returns at fly-half for Clifton, so Matt Williams switches to the outside centre position to replace Will Pomphery.

George Karayiannis is on the wing, Sheldon Stevens goes to the bench, while Andy Golledge replaces Charlie Bullimore at tighthead prop.

Clifton (home v Canterbury, 2.30pm): B Foley; S Smith, M Williams, S Harrison, G Karayiannis; B Roberts, C Braley; W Davis, S Evans, A Golledge, M Westlake, P Butcher, F Manners, J Stephenson, J Levis. Reps: T Boot, P Schmid, S Stevens, J Golledge, G Nicholls.
