While attracting well-known faces, Oscars increasingly gained an infamous reputation and was eventually closed in 2003 with accusations of drugs and violence.
However for generations of 30, 40 and 50-somethings from Frome and surrounding area, Oscars nightclub brings back very fond memories.
Now those heady days are to be remembered at the reunion, to be staged on February 9, at its original location in the Cheese Pavilion, on the Bath and West Showground.
The party is being sponsored by Brothers Cider and proceeds will go to the Help for Heroes charity.
Tickets are priced £10 and for more details of where to get tickets, see the www.facebook.com/Boxers OscarsNightclubs Reunion web page.
