Castle Cary Carnival road closures planned during procession

The Castle Cary carnival takes place on Saturday, with roads in the area closing to accommodate the parade, the sixth in the Wessex Grand Prix circuit.

The parade starts at 7.30pm and from 7pm until the carnival ends at 10pm, the A371 at Grove Cross, the turnpike at the A359/B3152 and at the junction of the A371/B3152 will be closed.

Anyone wishing to get into the town will need to do so before 7pm.

The parade costs organisers £5,000 to stage.
