A CHARITY which supports the children of men and women killed while serving in the British Armed Forces has benefited from the hard work of fundraisers at the Britannia Inn, Wells.
Every year the team held lots of events throughout the summer, including discos, lottery and fun days to raise cash and this year made £6,000.
They were looking to for a good cause to donate to when one of the them was approached by a total stranger. Trevor Jordan said: “A fellow came up to me and asked if I’d ever heard of Scotty’s Little Soldiers. I said I hadn’t and looked them up. I saw what a good cause they are.”
