Born to strum – 30 hours of ukulele sets record

Plymouth University's ukulele society have set a new world record after strumming their instruments continuously – for 30 hours. The music enthusiasts smashed the original record, which stood at 25 hours, by a further five hours. The musical crew will find out in June whether or not their application for the world record title will be successful. In the process, the team raised over £300 for Plymouth Music Zone
