Blue Square Bet Premier title-chasers Forest Green Rovers will visit Bath City for a friendly on Tuesday (7.30pm).

Bath are without a fixture on Saturday week due to scheduled opponents Bromley’s involvement in the FA Trophy, so have moved to set up the match in order to give the first-team squad some match practice ahead of the busy Christmas and New Year programme.

Sekani Simpson could make his return from injury against his former club after a three-month spell on the sidelines.

The long-serving defender suffering a medial knee ligament tear during September’s defeat at Blue Square Bet South leaders Salisbury, but is now back in training.

Bath boss Lee Howells said: “We have missed him. The minute he is fit, he will play.”

In order to cover costs for the Forest Green game, Bath will charge a small fee on the turnstiles. Adult admission costs £5, with students and concessions priced at £2.50. Children under 16 accompanied by an adult will obtain free entry.
