Why settle for one Alice when you can have six at free performances of Alice in Wonderland.

It is free to enjoy the family show at Sidcot School in Winscombe tonight (Friday, November 30) and tomorrow (Saturday, December 1) and see teenagers Alex Melvin, 17; Molly Pittaway, 14; Martha Cunningham, 15; Jemima Beauchamp, 15; Emily Coombes, 15 and Jasmine Lear, 15, plunge down a rabbit hole, play at a mad hatter's tea party and grapple with the art of croquet on a giant chess board at the 17th Century Quaker school.

Head of Drama, Charlotte Resuggan, said: "It's the first time we've put on Alice in Wonderland and we've merged it with Alice Through the Looking Glass.

"More than 60 Sidcot students aged 10 to 18 are involved in this a dreamy, surreal production and we've got six Alices because they act as props for each other."

The shows are on at 7pm tonight and 4pm on Saturday. Tickets are free, with donation towards the school taking a drama performance to the Edinburgh Festival next summer. To book tickets please call 01934 842102.
